![]() We are the Culbertson
family, Bible Believing, saved by His grace. I run this website and blog
along with the help of my ever-so-eager, homeschooled kidlets. Ryan is
the head of our bunch. He is in the Navy and looks terribly handsome in
his uniform. He drags us around a lot, from duty station to duty station,
but we don't mind. Life is an adventure - we wouldn't want it to get boring,
would we? Our kids number 7. We have one girl, Kaitlyn, who is the oldest of the brood. No, Kait is not a poor thing, although she's likely to try and convince you that she is Cinderella incarnate. She is hitting the beginning of those dramatic teenage years yet is still a child after God's heart. It's just Kait and me in this quite uneven household. I am ever so thankful that she is my girl. Then there are the 6 boys 10 and under; Joseph, Gabriel, Matthew, Benjamin, Samuel, and the new addition to be born early January 2009 (we believe the baby to be another 'him'). It is amazing how joyful a house full of rough and tumblin' boys can me. They are just about the silliest group of short legged beings and I am blessed everyday that God saw fit to grace me with such a fun group of little guys. The Cubby Clan FAQ... Are they all yours? Yes You actually gave birth to them all? Yes, though I don't really understand the relevancy of this common question. Are we done? Probably not, God is the only one who knows! Are we hoping to have another girl? We will be happy to have 5 more girls, or 5 more boys. God knows our hearts better than we do. We trust Him. Are we concerend about socialization? No, not since we started homeschooling. What curriculum do we use? Some Abeka, some homemade lessons, lots of library time, books, 4H, homeschool co-ops, etc... Do we plan on putting our children in high school? Not a chance! How do I do it all? I don't. The kids are a very important part of acheiving 'it all' - whatever that is. They each play an important role in the family and it takes all of us to get the necessary jobs completed. Have another question for us? Just ask! |
